He's So Fine
Country Music Released 1971 ~Not Available for Sale~
Billy Sherrill and I cut the title song, "He's So Fine," after George Harrison's success with "My Sweet
Lord" ... it has the same melody. Billy loved the acoustic guitars on his single. We added
Dobro, replacing the Doo Langs, and the record was a hit and garnered a
Grammy nomination.
My favorite songs are the title cut, "He's So Fine," "You've Got A
Friend," and I really enjoyed singing "Don't Be Cruel."
