America was shocked and saddened by the tragedy that occurred on September
11, 2001. But Americans responded as they always do when tragedy occurs.
We looked inside ourselves and remembered the pride and unity that we all
feel as Americans.
I began recording "My Country" as a tribute to the Veterans, in a time when
I felt America wasn't too concerned about the sacrifices they made to their
Country. Many Veterans remember coming home to an America that didn't care.
Too Many Veterans never came home at all.
Now, I am even more proud of "My Country", as America unites to salute a new
group of heros from September 11th. In America, we believe our strength
comes from our people. I re-dedicate "My Country" to the renewal of the
spirit of the American people.
